Jazzy Jam Glam presents The Prom Dress & Suit Give Away

Prom season is a milestone that every high school senior should look forward to, yet prohibitive costs often determine whether a student can attend. I personally remember the excitement of planning my look and the realization of the costs involved. I was fortunate that my sister, Mia, used the skills she learned from our grandmother, Mama Jewel, to sew me a beautiful one-shoulder lavender taffeta dress. I was blissful, joyful and excited! That dress, made with so much love, allowed me to walk with confidence—a feeling I have never forgotten.

In that same spirit of creativity and care, Halo Tu’ Beauty is proud to partner with "The Prom Project." This organization provides high school seniors with boutique experiences offering free upscale dresses, suits, accessories, and on-site styling. There were entertainment industry stylists donating their time to ensure the students received star treatment!

For the past two years, Halo Tu’ Beauty has donated lip glosses as a surprise gift for the young ladies after their fittings. Having the pleasure of meeting these students and seeing their eyes light up is deeply touching; it is a moment of true connection. This gesture aligns perfectly with our brand philosophy of Kindness, Love, and Glamour—values inspired by my mother, Juanita, and grandmother, Mama Jewel. It was a particular honor this year to support students from communities impacted by the Eaton Canyon fire.

We also provided snacks for the hardworking staff and volunteers, recognizing that it truly takes a heartfelt village to make these moments possible.

Just as my sister used her talent to ensure I could attend my prom, Halo Tu’ Beauty is committed to ensuring these students feel celebrated and supported.
